Mary Draper Ingles' Obelisk
Come visit the obelisk of Mary Draper Ingles, a brave American pioneer and a western Virginia native who was abducted by Native Americans. The courageous young woman escaped from her captives and made her way hundreds of miles back to her hometown. The obelisk is located at West End Cemetery in Radford, Virginia.
Ingles FarmHome of William and Mary Draper Ingles, this farm provides a historic journey to a time when life was simple and relaxing. The farm shows visitors how routine work was performed, as well as gives guests a view of the old tavern and ferry. Open on special days from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
